JESSICA BELLOFATTO is not only a certified yoga teacher, but is a burgeoning triathlete, soon-to-be cycling coach, doula, business owner, and mother of two children. Known for her easy laughter, radiant energy and matchless knowledge of the body, to state that she is an inspiration is an understatement.
Motivated by fitness from an early age, Jessica sought her first credential at the age of 16, becoming an AFAA certified Fitness Instructor. In that same vein, she later pursued a B.S. in Dance and Dance Education from NYU. Two years later, she completed her 500+ hour level training with Yoga Alliance to become a certified Yoga Teacher, and has trained with some of the most renowned people of the discipline. She sees yoga as a way to balance all other activities in our lives and become connected to our inner selves.
Jessica is the Founder and Director of KamaDeva Yoga in East Hampton, NY, a highly regarded studio, and hosts numerous workshops and retreats around the world. When training for her first triathlon several years back, she created a class called Yoga Athletica™ to address the needs of each athletic individual. The class was inspired by her love of athletic endeavors such as triathlons, stand up paddle boarding, tennis and more.
A true believer in honoring our bodies, Jessica not only inspires her students to better understand how movement affects well being, but she takes the mind-body connection to a whole new level with her practice as a DONA certified doula. Since 2008, Jessica has assisted women through the birthing process, empowering them to understand the immense capacity of their bodies. A mother, herself, Jessica believes in nurturing the powerful bond between mother and child immediately following birth.

Not only do I have the good fortune to be a yoga student of the wonderful Jessica Bellofatto but, as a triathlon announcer, I have also had the opportunity to cheer her on and call her home during races like the half ironman in Montauk, NY. Her strength, commitment and bright spirit constantly inspire. I’m so happy to see her being recognized in this great way… go Jess go! Namaste

I met Jessica on a photo shoot last year. It was November and the temp hovered around 50 degrees. We were shooting out of doors because she wanted her poses to include her Stand Up paddleboard in the picture. Jess arrived a little late because she had been in a cab accident earlier that morning in NYC; but nevertheless, dressed in only shorts and a tank (and it was COLD) Jess pulled out one electric asana after another. She did headstands while floating on the paddleboard, she never once complained about the temperature and her easy, infectious laugh kept the energy high and joyful. Since that day, I’ve admired her commitment to her practice and her training, I’ve become a devoted participant in her yoga studio due to her strong lead and inspiration and continue to enjoy her laughter, her vision and her attitude about life, practice and yoga. Jess is a true yogi: living her truth, testing her limits and enjoying the ride, every step of the way. Bravo Jessica!!! All of these honors are well earned

Two summers ago Jessica and I trained for the Paddlers for Humanity Wahine Paddle, spending early mornings meeting at the ocean and paddling for as long and as far as we could! Enjoying the water, riding whatever waves we could catch(picking up a few stray balloons on occasion) and walking on sunshine! Her enthusiasm is boundless, her laugh infectious, and spirit boundless. I am honored to teach at her studio, Kamadeva, and practice in her classes whenever I can. I truly admire her accomplishments and athleticism, and her spirit to give. Namaste Jessica!

I think of Jessica as a kind of wonder woman – a great athlete, businesswoman and mother.
She ‘s able to balance all these formidable responsibilities while remaining cute and sassy and very
approachable. Jessica really has a deep understanding of the yoga practice and while teaching is able to impart that knowledge and sense of ” I can do it” to her students. You never know what she may
have up her sleeve during any class but it’s always great fun with lots of laughter. You can’t beat it.
Thank you Jessica !
