Hello! Very interesting comparison. I am swimmer and Swim Coach (ASCAII) as well as a Top 10 Masters swimmer. My husband and work with all ages in swimming as well as triathletes in Phoenix Arizona. I realize triathletes tend to only stick to trianing freestyle, however the best triathletes that train with us do transition workouts or IM workouts. Doing all 4 stroke really prepares the body well for the out of water transitions and allows you to get in much better swimming shape. Getting strong in all 4 strokes gets you stronger in the water for freestyle.
