The Coziest Tights for Winter

It can be hard to find the motivation to work out, or even go out, when the temps fall. Jules and her friend / fellow NYC lifestyle blogger Falcon, recently tried on the Powerlift 2.0 Tight. Here’s what they learned + scroll to the bottom of the post to shop their looks!

Okay, I’ll admit… I am THE WORST when it comes to dealing with cold weather!

I’m in love with summertime, so I have a pretty difficult time letting go when the season changes. One of the main reasons Winter and I butt heads is because I love being outside, especially to practice yoga!

When I heard about Athleta’s new Powerlift tights, I had to give it a shot. So, I called up my friend Falcon who joined me for a full day outside, putting our tights to the test. It was actually the coldest and windiest day we’ve had so far in NYC… perrrrfect.

#1 – Yes, it definitely keeps you warm.

We figured this out rather quickly, actually. Within the first few minutes of being outside, we were blasted by strong winds. It blew my hood off, but man, my legs were still warm. The material inside is a brushed fabric, and it feels like you’re wrapping up your legs in a fuzzy blanket. Ch’yeah, this is real life.

#2 – It makes your tush look ?.

Since the fabric is thicker, I wasn’t sure how it would look. I am happy to report it fits like a gem. The cut is very fitting to the legs and makes everything look tucked in and firm. Not bad not bad, eh?

#3 – It’s true athleisure.

There are so many different styles and colors of Powerlift tights to choose from, and they all have small, unique details. Falcon and I both loved the Polartech Reflective Powerlift 2.0 for the front zipper detailing and the reflective print on the calves. It’s functional, fashion-forward and just all-around fun to wear.

Ever since I’ve discovered these amazing tights, I am more equipped to take on the winter season, and you know what, I’m actually excited for it. Bring it, Winter!
