Our Fall 2016 Collection: Stylist Picks

As the weather begins to cool down and summer slowly comes to a close, it’s time to start thinking about your fall wardrobe!

From working out, to date night, and somewhere in between, here are some of my favorites from Athleta’s Fall 2016 collection, to help you prepare for the cooler months ahead.

The Laser Mesh Sonar Capri has me looking super chic at the gym. I am really digging the mesh detail and their perfect mid-rise fit. I am wearing it with the High Neck Ribbed Tank, Stowe-away Run Jacket and the Bullet Shoes by Saucony. Added the Dispensea Polarized Sunglasses for some extra cool vibes.

Both sleek and functional, the Misty Jacket has the ability to take you from the trails to date night in one outfit change. The gold zipper, and button detail, give it the ability to be dressed up. Throw it on with some denim, the Highline Sweater Tunic and the London Bootie by Dr. Scholls for a cute and classic date night look or over your favorite workout gear for cold-weather physical activities. Another great thing about the Misty Jacket is that it is lightweight and water resistant which makes it a great jacket to adventure in.

The Criss Cross Dress is probably one of my favorite pieces. I own the Criss Cross Sweatshirt as well and just can’t get enough! The criss cross hemline gives it the right amount of style points for the perfect day-to-night outfit. Not too tight, not too loose and extremely soft. It goes perfect with the the London Bootie. I could wear this dress every day!

I just received my september catalog–what a HUGE disappointment. UGLY COLORS!!! So many greys–do you realize that only 10% of American women can actually wear grey well? I don’t want to look like a refugee from a high school boys locker room. Even your gorgeous models look sickly in those colors. Where are the rich browns and hunter greens for fall? And horizontal stripe chatarungas — how unflattering can you get? Whoever picked your fabrics should be fired!!!
