3 Ways to Wear the Jogger Trend: Los Angeles Edition
The weather in Los Angeles means endless opportunities for outdoor activities, which is why it’s so important to be ready for anything. You never know when you’ll stumble upon a new trail, reach an epic lookout point to catch the sunset or find yourself exploring the LA suburbs with Pinterest-worthy cacti lining the streets. We asked Breanna Musgrove of Scout & Catalogue – a Vancouver-based handbag and accessories line – to pack a few pairs of our Trekkie Joggers during her trip down the coast to Los Angeles and share her favorite ways to wear them!
The Laid-Back Brunch Look
The Trekkie Jogger works seamlessly with playful cherry-red sandals and a cute top. Pictured here in Cobblestone Grey with the Mesh Pullover in Bright White, she wandered around Highland Park and snagged a latte before an afternoon hike. Even though it’s built for the trail, the ultra light weight fabric is perfect for a summer look.
The Blazing New Trails Look
Breanna paired these Jasper Green Trekkie Joggers with a White Asana Muscle tank and a pair of her own New Balances while on a hike at Moon Canyon. Check out our collection of New Balance running shoes here. (We are loving this classic orange pair, too!) Our Trekkie joggers are made with our most durable fabric, standing up to wind, rain, and abrasions that may come along on the trail.
The On the Run Look
The next day was perfect for a run through the winding streets of the suburbs. Breanna threw on a Sugar Wash tank in Cactus (crazy soft) and took a break curb-side to stretch it out and soak in the sun. Wicking and breathable fabric kept her comfortable throughout the run.
